Bendon Distribution Centre & Offices

Occupation Date: March 2006 Client: Pacific Retail Properties

This project was a staged delivery adding structures to the client’s site where Bendon’s head office currently is positioned. Stage 1 comprises of a distribution centre of 5,600sqm, plus the introduction of a mezzanine which added a further 1,700sqm to the warehouse and also 1,200sqm of canopy space. As part of Bendon’s fitout, Mechanical Handling Equipment was fitted under the mezzanine which picks, sorts and packages product from racking within the warehouse. Stage two consisted of a two level warehouse office (approx 450sqm). Stage 3 was the extension of Bendon’s existing Head office to connect to the newly constructed warehouse.

RCP were appointed by Pacific Retail Properties to oversee the base building development and to ensure that the project was delivered to time, cost and quality restraints and to ensure that their tenant’s requirements were captured. Significant interfacing was required to coordinate the tenant’s fitout requirements with the base building.

The warehouse & mezzanine were completed in March 2006, stage two was completed mid May 2006 and stage 3 in October 2006.
