Rachel joined RCP in Christchurch in 2019, bringing a wealth of public hospital development experience and specific expertise in design, FFE and commissioning after leading the operational readiness aspects of a large, complex digital hospital in Australia.
Rachel is professionally driven by two aspects – to provide high-quality patient care through design, ICT efficiencies and stakeholder engagement, and to meaningfully apply local and national cultural considerations to projects. Leveraging her successful cultural engagement and digital health leadership on the New Dunedin Hospital,
Rachel has helped RCP secure further work in the Otago region, including the Clutha Health Redevelopment project where she is currently leading the client through front-end health planning processes. Her unique strategic consulting skills and innovative processes provide a new facet to RCP’s broader capability and can be applied to a multitude of project typologies for the benefit of our wider team and customers.
Rachel’s thoughtful insight into business improvement initiatives, and the mentoring she provides to other team members, is also highly valued. In particular, the effort Rachel has put into designing and leading RCP’s cultural capacity programme has been a significant highlight.
