AUT School of Art and Design

This 8,300m2 building included the design and delivery of extensive gallery and studio spaces with office and courtyard areas. Its construction comprised seven levels constructed with a concrete frame and a structural steelwork frame to the roof, together with precast concrete floors. The external walls are concrete and profiled steel panels, with shop-front glazing at street level.

RCP also managed the FF&E, which involved the relocation of staff (over 50 lecturers, technicians and administrators) into the new accommodation. The procurement and management of all new equipment and fixtures was completed within the established budget.
