KPMG Building Refurbishment

,

RCP were appointed as Project Managers for KPMG and Kensington Swan as part of their Agreement to Lease with property owner, and soon to be, fellow building occupant, Goodman. As part of the Agreement to Lease, Goodman upgraded the mechanical system throughout the building, introduced new ‘End of Trip’ facilities into the basement, and refreshed all the bathrooms and lift cars. The award-winning building was first built in 2003 and at the time managed by RCP, but the minimalist theme of the entry & reception and surrounding meeting rooms, required some warmth and life breathed back into it, Wingate Architects delivered in hitting this brief.

All three building tenants upgraded their respective spaces at the same time, the total commercial office interior refurbishment of approximately 7,000sqm involved a staged programme to vacate a level at a time to enable fitout works to be undertaken along with re-shuffling of floor occupation. RCP worked for all three clients and the next stage is to replace the curtain wall glazed façade with a higher performing glazing unit to work in collaboration with the upgraded Mechanical system.
