Q Theatre

RCP were engaged as the Project Managers responsible for the delivery of this exciting and challenging project. The central city site, immediately adjacent to the fully operating listed Town Hall building, involved the refurbishment of the existing building to create two flexi form and multi-use performance spaces, seating 350 – 460, as well as a rehearsal space, lounge bar and café and new entry lobby.

This project involved mitigating multiple risks including the constraints of the complex site, heritage considerations, consent issues, in-ground constraints, modification of an existing building, and complex staging.

RCP is proud to have been involved in the management of this innovative and purpose designed venue supporting the passion and viability of the Arts in New Zealand.
