Scape Public Art

RCP has an established and ongoing industry partnership with SCAPE Public Art providing project management services to ensure successful project outcomes.

The SCAPE 8 Public Art Christchurch Biennial was a contemporary art event which mixed new artworks with existing legacy pieces, an education programme and a public programme of events. RCP managed the programme and design of all eight works to ensure timely delivery coordinating stakeholder engagement, installation design and methodologies, consenting processes and the installation of each work throughout the city. With RCP’s knowledge and industry contacts we were able to assist SCAPE, a non-profit organisation, with the acquisition of expertise, resources and programming required to deliver a highly ambitious curatorial vision of eight works and create a temporary venue for the biennial period.

We have most recently worked with the SCAPE team, sponsors and artist Seung Yul Oh on the major legacy public sculpture, Conduct Cumulus within the south quad of the Christchurch Arts Centre.
